Nigerian harassed Filipino woman on the stairs of Bani Yas Metro station

A Dubai local court has sentenced an unidentified man to three months' imprisonment in a case of shameful sexual activity with a Filipino woman, as well as an order to be deported after the prison term has expired. Nigerian, who arrived in Dubai on prosecutor's visit visa, has been accused of sexually assaulting a 23-year-old Filipino girl at a subway station in Bani Yas.
The FIR was submitted to the Knife Police Station. However, the suspect said that he had not deliberately touched the Filipino girl, his hand suddenly slipped from his body. The victim told the court that she worked as a salesgirl.

On the night of the incident, she finished her work and arrived at Bani Yas Metro Station at 11 am. I used the electric staircase to go from the basement to the ground floor.

The accused was also standing on the electric stairway about two feet away. Where he looked at me alone and took hold of certain parts of my body. I shouted at the sudden sexual assault and looked at him angrily, and withdrew his hands. And I tried to run away, but I followed him and got to a hotel near where he was staying.

He was upset to see me coming after me. And asked what happened, why are you following me. I told her that I just called the police and she would deal with you. After hearing this, the accused escaped. Police later detained the suspect from the hotel management and arrested him. The accused has been given the right to appeal the decision within fifteen days.
