Apple
introduced the 3.3-inch-tall HomePad Mini. Apple introduced this new smart
speaker with built-in Siri Smart. This device can control your smart home and
automatically connect to the Home app.
The Siri built into the HomePad Mini can
recognize the voice of everyone in your home and can access your phone's iPhone
apps or send messages. It can also provide you with personalized updates. The
HomePad Mini intercom can also send messages to other HomePad Minis in other
rooms.
It also works with other Apple devices and services. These messages can
be automatically played on HomePad Mini and AirPods, while other devices like
iPhones and CarPlay receive such message notifications. As always, Apple has
kept privacy in mind with the HomePad Mini.
The company will only store your
audio if you allow it. Your personal updates will be delivered to you at home
and everything will be encrypted. The device will work with Apple Music,
iHeartRadio, radio.com, and TuneIn.
In the future, it will also be compatible
with Pandora and Amazon Music. HomePad Mini can control volume, play, and pause
with controls on the backlit touch-sensitive touchpad. This HomePad Mini
supports 360-degree sound and can be connected to multiple HomePad Minis.
The
HomePad Mini has an Apple S5 chip that enables computational audio. This means
that the speaker has a constant volume and adjusts the dynamic range in real
time. Later this year it will be able to work with U1 UWB on iPhones and detect
when your phone is near the HomePad Mini.
The HomePad Mini will be available in
white and space gray colors. Pre-orders for the HomePad Mini will begin on
November 6 for $99, with delivery starting on November 16.
